Writing with Zotero In-Person

Zotero isn't just for collecting and organizing your citation information. You can also use it during your reading and writing process. This workshop is for anyone who has already collected information in Zotero and wants to make the most of it during the later stages of the research process.

By the end of this workshop, we expect you'll be able to:

  1. Organize your citations into collections and sub-collections
  2. Show relationships between items using tags and related items features
  3. Use Zotero's notes tool to create child and standalone notes.
  4. Use the Zotfile add-on to extract annotations from PDF files.
  5. Create citations in your preferred style using citation data from your Zotero library.

This workshop will be presented by subject librarian Jessica Hagman.

The workshop is on a day when the University is closed. Alden Library will be open that day, starting at noon.

Ohio University Libraries are committed to providing programs and services that are accessible to all participating individuals. If you would like to request an accommodation for this event, please contact Jennifer Harvey at 740-593-2906 or harveyj1@ohio.edu.
