Get Started with Zotero In-Person
Join subject librarian Chris Guder for a workshop on the free citation management software Zotero.
By the end of the workshop, you should be able to:
- install Zotero and its browser connector on your own laptop
- use Zotero to collect citations from library databases and the open web
- use Zotero's PDF import feature to add citation data for these files to your Zotero library
- create citations from citations in your Zotero library in Microsoft Word or your preferred writing program
The video below will give you an idea of what we cover in our workshop. We suggest downloading Zotero to your device before the workshop to save time during the workshop.
