Researching a Company Before You Interview In-Person
When you're getting ready for a job interview, it's important that you spend some time researching the company or organization. They'll want to know that you're interested in their work, and you can do that by coming prepared with well-researched and thoughtful questions.
You can do some of this work on the open web, but the Libraries' subscribe to a number of business databases that can help you delve even further into the company's background. Chad Boeninger, subject librarian for business will lead the workshop.
Boeninger has previously created a video showing how to use the OneSource database for company research to help you "ace the interview." He'll discuss this tool and more at the workshop on March 9.
